Is EBT excepted to buy baked goods still? It was before but I heard it may have changed (like the time they open-miss those early morning pastry runs)...??
YUMMY … !!!! Must treat yourself here folk's
New favorite stop for a pastry or donut, worth the drive!
A nice family owned place. They have great pastries and according to the owner they use old family recipes and you can tell. They also have a small convenience type store with mostly local flavor type foods. We got one egg salad sandwich that was good. We also got assorted pastries and they are all gone so we must have liked them. In particular I liked the pineapple fritter.
MoreGood selection with mainland and Hawaiian treats. Tried a bun filled with Ube (a sweet sweet potato and purple!), a fluffy-as-a-cloud roll topped with butter and sugar, and my favorite... A pineapple fritter! Also a six pack of day old malasadas. I want to go back and try their eclair which looked great.
MoreThe donuts are wonderful. My family and I enjoyed a few different varieties. A few times lol. Friendly staffing as well
MoreYummy favorite local desserts like custard filled Long Johns , Rice cake & Guava Cake! So delicious! Customer service is friendly and helpful. Will be back!
MoreAwesome Malasadas! The family said they were the best they have had. The pineapple fritter was worth the trip alone. So tasty!
MoreGreat little side-of-the-road shop. Easily visible from your car so you don’t miss the turn off. Lots of varieties of pastries, cakes, and pies. Filled donuts are especially good. Cooked on premises. There are a few tables inside to sit down at and enjoy your delicious purchase. I was a big fan of the coconut filled donut. The pineapple fritter was also a fun treat. Service was prompt and the employees were pleasant. This is a don’t miss spot.
MoreSavory and sweet croissants delish!
Big store between Hanapepe and waimea, next to makawena post office, yummy sweets, really great ham and cheese rolls.
MorePastries are still delicious
Interesting choices of pastries. Black bean and yam weren't something I've ever seen. Interesting combination.
MoreI wanted to get one of everything. Yum, Yum, Yum. And wait fine Aloha people.
No frills mini mart and bakery. The malasadas were spot on! The flavored Kauai Coffee was $2 cheaper than at Kauai Coffee. Use those saved dollars for pastries!
More5 stars for their butter mochi! By far, the best mochi I've ever had. Other pastries/baked goods were solid.
MoreLocals love it for special stuff they have, I thought the prices are high for the quality
MoreA very nice bakery stop on the way to Waiamea. Pastries, bread and a small grocery store.
MoreLove this Bakery.... They have great cookies, pastries, bento's, and snacks imported from Philippines.
MoreDelicious place to splurge! The pineapple fritters are to die for!
My 1st Malasadas were delicious. This Shop is a hidden Gem, just after mile marker 16 at top of the hill heading towards Waimea
MorePineapple fritter might be the best donut I've ever had.
Nothing but the best!
Delicious! I got a pack of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that are fabulous. I also got a pineapple fritter that was mouth watering
MoreAwesome little local bakery and well worth the stop! Don't miss out the homeade, true Hawaiian bakery and don't let the smallness fool you! Fresh tasty baked goods!
MoreAmazing selection of local favorites and delights that no one should pass up! They're an established location and by most standards antiquated, but if you judge the product by that, you'll miss out on so much goodness. Definitely a destination for any foodie. Lucky I don't live close, or I would be so far and broke.
MorePastries were great but service was lacking. Definitely try the pineapple fritter!
MoreEnsaymada and butter mochi were both delicious! Great little local place with friendly staff.
MoreAfter sitting in my car eating my first ensylada I had to go back in two more times for more and more sweets. Everything here is delicious
MoreWonderful Experience Worth The StopFantastic Pastry’s And Friendly Staff
Banana cream pie little better than ok but i have tasted awesome banana cream pie it just didn't hit the mark. Pie whole 14.99 , if you use cash they do not charge a extra 78 cent fee. If you use Cc you have a fee processed
MoreThe cinnamon rolls were good and the other items simply okay.
Secret sweets! Best kept secret in plain sight.
Great little bakery. We recommend the malasadas and anything with ube (purple sweet potato), coconut, or black bean. Delicious!
MoreDelicious. Worth the drive from town. In the 2 weeks we stayed on the Island, we visited this shop at least 10 times.
MoreLike to come every so often to bulk up on sweets from the family- VERY good prices and very tasty! Spanish bread, baked manju, cinnamon rolls, and ensamada’s are the family’s fave!
MoreA must visit spot on Kauai! Selection of pastries is amazing and fresh!
Best donuts on Kauai, large assortment of delights we stop every time we go west side!
MoreMost of their items are very tasty. I'm going back for the manju!
Fantastic local bakery, enjoyed the donuts and the rolls topped with butter/sugar.
MoreMUST STOP on the way to waimea canyon in the morning or for a sugar treat. Grab a cream filled or plain malasada and a cup of coffee.

MoreA locals place, very delicious doughnuts.
Yummy pastries and donuts!
Stopped and got a Ensaymada which I thought was awesome but have never had one before. Also a fresh ham and cheese which had molten hot cheese. So good stop by for a snack.
MoreOmg this place has the tastiest Napoleons I've ever had! Reasonable prices too! Can't wait to go back there!
MoreTheir pineapple fritters were beyond delicious!
This little bakery is definitely worth the drive. The pineapple fritters are amazing. They make them Monday evenings so the best time to get them is Tuesday morning.
MoreLooking for a place to buy drinks and snacks on the way to Waimea Canyon and saw this place. AMAZING bakery!!! I think they said it has been Local Family owned for a few generations and you can tell, very very friendly workers with an awesome assortment of baked goods with Hawaiian flare. Cookies were awesome, many flavors! DO NOT pass on the apple fritters!!! Had hints of pineapple and coconut in them. The absolute best apple fritter I have ever had!!! In fact I am going to see if they can ship them to Florida?
MoreDelicious
Friendly staff! Family owned! Great food! Can't beat it!!❤
